Experience the natural and cultural wonders of this region

This adventure offers students a fantastic insight into the history, cultures and natural wonders of Vietnam and Cambodia, with the opportunity to make a difference by refurbishing a school in the Vung Vieng region of North-East Vietnam. Commencing in the bustling city of Hanoi we continue on to the beautiful Halong Bay with its limestone formations to enjoy a cruise and some swimming, kayaking and cave exploration before embarking on a full day of unique community project work at the floating village school of Cong Dam. Further south we’ll visit the ancient capital of Hue with its immense pagodas and the beautiful Hoi An where the riverside markets provide much fun to barter for local handicrafts. We then fl y to Cambodia’s capital at Phnom Penh with its French influenced architecture and Vietnam War museums. Further north we cycle around the spectacular 12th century Angkor Wat ruins. We learn about this World Heritage site with an in-depth tour, guaranteed to be a memorable finale to this fascinating adventure.
